The Zhoghovurd daily of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes as follows, in particular: The permanent population of the Republic of Armenia as of January 1, 2025 was 3,075,800 people, which is 84,600 more compared to last year. These data are presented in the official bulletin of the RA Statistical Committee.

If we try to figure out the difference in annual comparison, we will record that in 2022 the permanent population of the RA was 2,937,500 people, in 2023—2,991,200 people, in 2024—3,075,800 people. Although there is still a lot to achieve the "dream" set by [PM] Nikol Pashinyan, there is still a slight increase. Let us recall that according to the development strategy until 2050, Armenia should have a population of 5 million. It should be noted that the growth of the permanent population [of Armenia] is due also to natural growth: in 2024, 33,648 births were registered [in the country].
