The regular Armenia-United Kingdom (UK) defense consultations were held Thursday at the Ministry of Defense (MoD) of Armenia, the MoD informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
During the consultations, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, Artur Yeroyan, briefed his UK colleagues on the transformation process of the Armenian army, and touched upon priority domains.
Regional and international security, as well as cooperation in the defense sector, were also conferred on.
In addition, the parties discussed in detail the implementation of the agreements reached during the previous consultations, and summed up the results of the implementation of the cooperation program.
Both sides expressed their readiness to expand cooperation in a number of domains of interest.
At the end of the consultations, the two parties signed the 2025/26 cooperation plan.
