Ukraine is joining the NATO aviation system. AFU aircraft will coordinate with allies through a digital interface, Deputy Defence Minister for Digitalization Kateryna Chernogorenko has said, RBC-Ukraine has reported.

Ukraine has signed a license agreement to use NATO's software, the Control and Warning Center System Interface (CRC System Interface, CSI).

This step will allow the Ukrainian Air Force to work in a single digital system with the aviation of the Alliance countries.

 CSI is part of the combat control system that operates through the Link-16 protocol, known as NATO's “military Wi-Fi.”

It is through it that information is exchanged between aircraft (particularly the F-16 and Mirage 2000), air and missile defense systems (Patriot) and other defense components.

The agreement was implemented thanks to the joint efforts of the Ministry of Defense, the General Staff, the Ukrainian Air Force and international partners.

 The program is used by almost all members of the Alliance, so its integration is the key to full interoperability of Ukrainian forces with partners.

According to Ukrainian media, the Czech company LPP Holding has recently developed unique drones controlled by artificial intelligence, which are resistant to enemy jammers.

Hundreds of such drones have already been sent to Ukraine, where they are used in combat conditions. The operator uploads the mission objective, and the artificial intelligence independently navigates by visually comparing the real environment with a map.
