The Minister of Finance of Armenia, Vahe Hovhannisyan, met with the Alternate Executive Director  of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Llewellyn Roberts.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the main directions of Armenia-ADB cooperation, current and prospective programs, as well as touched upon the agreements reached during the 58th ADB Annual Meeting held in Milan, Italy in May.

The minister highly appreciated the role of ADB in the socioeconomic development of Armenia, and emphasized that significant progress was recorded in the development, coordination, and signing of new programs in 2024. As a result, the Armenia-ADB cooperation portfolio continued to grow dynamically, including both in loans and grants.

Roberts, for his part, reaffirmed the ADB's commitment to continuously support Armenia in promoting inclusive and sustainable economic growth.
