The new OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Irish Deputy Prime Minister, Eamon Gilmore, will present the Irish Chairmanship’s priorities to the OSCE Permanent Council on January 12 in Vienna.

“These priorities include enhancing the work of the OSCE in conflict resolution and upholding media freedoms and freedom of expression in the digital age, as well as strengthening co-operation between the 56 OSCE participating States,” reads the statement on OSCE website.

Ireland took over OSCE chairmanship on January 1 from Lithuania.
