A deal on a ceasefire and a meeting between the leaders of Ukraine and Russia was not reached during the two countries’ talks in Istanbul, Turkey, according to Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, UNIAN reports.
Ukraine and Russia, however, have agreed to exchange all seriously ill prisoners of war and persons under the age of 25.
Umerov added that Ukraine has proposed Russia to hold another meeting by the end of June.
