An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.3 occurred off the eastern coast of the Japanese island of Hokkaido. This was reported by the Japan Meteorological Agency. The earthquake occurred in the areas of Taiki and Urahoro in the eastern region of Hokkaido prefecture, reports Xinhua.
