Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received representatives of the foreign ministries of the Nordic-Baltic Eight, the PM’s office informs.

The premier welcomed these representatives’ current visit to Armenia, and noted that in recent years the country has had an active political dialogue and a number of high-level mutual visits have been taking place with the Northern Europe and Baltic countries.

According to Pashinyan, cooperation is developing also within the framework of the democratic reforms being implemented in Armenia; in particular, in the exchanging of experience and strengthening of institutional capacity.

Touching upon Armenia-EU relations, the PM noted that the two parties are currently working on developing a cooperation agenda, which is expected to give a new impetus to the further expansion of multi-sectoral ties.

The Pashinyan then answered the questions of the participants of the meeting—and which were about the peace agreement and the border delimitation process between Armenia and Azerbaijan, regional developments, the development of Armenia-EU cooperation, as well as topics of international importance.
