Armenia’s exports increased by 53 percent in 2024. This was announced by Minister of Finance Vahe Hovhannisyan during the debates on the annual report on the implementation of the 2024 state budget of Armenia at Wednesday’s joint meeting of the standing committees of the parliament.

Also, exports of goods of Armenian origin increased by 18.6 percent.

“Thus, excluding precious metals, the growth amounted to approximately 2.3 percent,” added Hovhannisyan.

According to the Ministry of Finance, the performance of the 2024 state budget of Armenia amounted to 95.8 percent in terms of revenues and 93.9 percent in terms of expenditures. In addition, the adjusted indicators of the country’s main financial document had envisaged revenues of more than 2.72 trillion drams and expenditures of almost 3.18 trillion drams.

Armenia’s national debt at the end of 2024 amounted to about 5.093 trillion drams (about $12.8 billion), which corresponds to 48.3 percent of GDP.
