Israel's seizure of the Gaza-bound aid ship Madleen, which was carrying environmental activist Greta Thunberg, is an act of “state terrorism,” the Palestinian Hamas movement has declared.

The seizure of the Madleen at sea and the prevention of the delivery of symbolic humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people constitutes “organized state terrorism,” a flagrant violation of international law, and an assault on civilian volunteers driven by humanitarian motives, said the statement posted on the Telegram channel of this Palestinian movement.

Also, Hamas condemned Israel's actions, and demanded the immediate release of the activists.

The Palestinian movement added that it calls on the UN and other international organizations to condemn this and take immediate measures to lift the blockade.
