In a message to the country's citizens, Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei called Israel's attacks on Iran a crime, and said Israel will face a "bitter and terrible fate," reports Fars News Agency.
"With this crime, Israel has prepared for itself a bitter and terrible fate, and it will definitely deserve it," Khamenei said in his message.
Iranian media had reported the deaths of Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) commander Hossein Salami, IRGC Khatam al-Anbia headquarters’ commander Gholamali Rashid, and three nuclear physicists in an Israeli attack on Iran on Friday morning.
