Planes of a number of airlines have made a reserve landing at Baku's Heydar Aliyev International Airport due to restrictions on flights in the airspace of Iran, Iraq and Israel, among them are the planes flying from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan and Makhachkala, TASS reports citing the airport's press service.

“Against the background of restrictions on flights in the airspace of Iran, Iraq, and Israel, Heydar Aliyev International Airport has received requests from a number of airlines to ensure safe continuation of flights,” the report said.

It is noted that in the morning hours, airplanes of Fly Dubai Airlines flying Minsk-Dubai, Kazan-Dubai, St. Petersburg-Dubai, Moscow-Dubai (Boeing 737), Air Arabia - Moscow-Sharjah (Airbus A320), Jazeera Airways - Makhachkala-Kuwait, Moscow-Kuwait (Airbus A320), Etihad Airways - Moscow-Abu Dhabi (Boeing 787) landed at Baku airport.

In addition, airplanes flying on the route Istanbul - Tehran, Istanbul - Phuket and Istanbul - Singapore made a reserve landing in Baku.
