Speaker of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, Alen Simonyan, confirmed that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will leave for Turkey on Friday. Simonyan announced this while speaking with reporters.

“I confirmed the visit, but for the remaining details, contact the prime minister’s press service,” Simonyan noted, and added that Turkish President Erdogan had sent Pashinyan an invitation.

“During that time, all regional issues will be discussed. I believe [that] this visit is historic, since it is the first time that the head of the Republic of Armenia will make a visit of such a level [to Armenia],” the NA speaker added.
