Aston Martin will launch twelve homologated Valkyrie LM supercars, which are technically complete copies of the racing Valkyrie designed for the current season's Le Mans endurance race, reports Drom.ru.

The Valkyrie LM has an extremely lightweight chassis, inside there is only one seat for the driver, a bucket seat with a carbon fiber base and fireproof polymer upholstery. The weight of the Aston Martin Valkyrie LM is only 1,030 kg.

Designed to create significant vertical force at high speeds, the aerodynamic kit of the Valkyrie LM is completely identical to that installed on the Le Mans racing Valkyrie. These cars are equipped with a racing chassis suspension and ceramic disc brakes.

The engine is a 6.5-liter V12 Cosworth, the power of which is limited by default to 697 horsepower, and the transmission is a 7-speed automatic. It is equipped with rear-wheel drive and without hybrid systems or electronic assistants.

Future Aston Martin Valkyrie LM owners will receive a racing driving course at Silverstone, receive a simplified professional racing driver's license, and will be able to drive the Aston Martin Valkyrie LM on Formula 1 race tracks.
