The Security Council convenes meetings periodically. For example, over the past three weeks or a month, they have been convened perhaps four, five, six times, but there are no press statements about them. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan told this to reporters at the National Assembly Wednesday—and addressing the question of why Armenia has not convened a Security Council meeting and discussed the existing challenges against the backdrop of the current Iran-Israel conflict.

“But these meetings are not [convened] because there is a danger related to Syunik [Province]. I consider these statements provocative, provoking, unfounded, and intended to generate unrest, panic, and uncertainties among the citizens of Armenia.
