Numerous relatives of Armenian missing servicemen have spent the night on Marshal Baghramyan Avenue in the capital Yerevan.
They have closed off the aforesaid avenue since Wednesday.
At the moment, they are negotiating with the deputy police chief of Armenia.
They demand that the decision to remove Armen Abazyan from the post of Director of the National Security Service (NSS) of Armenia be canceled.
When it was announced Wednesday that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had dismissed Armen Abazyan from the post of NSS Director, concerns were voiced by the parents of the missing servicemen because it was Abazyan who was dealing with and regularly providing information on the matters of their missing sons.
Pashinyan, however, stated in the National Assembly on Wednesday that the dismissal of Abazyan did not change anything, he personally had met with the relatives of the missing servicemen on June 6, and promised then that he would answer their questions in two months.
