Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who is in Turkey on a working visit, on Friday met with several members of the local Armenian community in Istanbul.
But no one from the Armenian Patriarchate of Constantinople was in attendance to this talk, reports Armenian weekly Agos of Istanbul.
And in response to questions from those present in this regard, the Armenian PM said that if they did not come to meet with him, he will go to meet with them. This response was welcomed with applause by those in attendance.
To note, Nikol Pashinyan is scheduled to meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan this evening.
