Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited the Holy Mother of God Armenian Cathedral in Istanbul, Turkey and lit a candle before meeting with the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

It is noteworthy that Pashinyan was not greeted by any Armenian clergy at this church.

The clergy of the Armenian Patriarchate of Constantinople had not attended also Pashinyan’s meeting with several members of Istanbul’s Armenian community.

The Erdogan-Pashinyan meeting will begin shortly in Istanbul.
