The Iranian Parliament has decided to close the Strait of Hormuz following U.S. strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities.
The final decision on the matter must still be approved by Iran’s National Security Council.
Earlier, Iran’s Ministry of Defense had threatened to close the Strait of Hormuz on its X (formerly Twitter) page in response to the American strikes on the Islamic Republic.
