The National Assembly of Armenia has convened a special session today at the initiative of the government.

There are 22 matters on the agenda.

The MPs will debate as well on the matter of nationalization of the Electric Networks of Armenia CJSC, or rather, the large package preparing the legislative basis for it. The owner of this company, the head of the Tashir group of companies of Russia, Russian Armenian businessman and philanthropist Samvel Karapetyan, has been remanded in custody for two months in Armenia.
