Foreign ministers from the Group of Seven (G7) nations have issued a statement calling for the resumption of talks on Iran's nuclear program, while expressing their unconditional support for Israel, Al Jazeera reports.

The G7 statement made no mention of Israel's nuclear arsenal, which poses a serious threat to both Middle East and global security.

Instead, the statement said that resuming talks could lead to an agreement that would prevent the spread of nuclear weapons and ensure regional stability.

Also, the G7 members welcomed the ceasefire between Iran and Israel, and called for continued diplomatic efforts to reduce tensions.

In addition, the G7 foreign ministers expressed strong support for Israel's security, and condemned what they called Iranian calls for the arrest and execution of International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) director general Rafael Grossi, and expressed deep concern over the matter.
