YEREVAN. – The key issue in the meeting between Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) and the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Co-Rapporteur on Armenia John Prescott was the upcoming parliamentary elections, coalition member PAP MP Naira Zohrabyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

According to her, PAP and Prescott did not share the same viewpoint on the upcoming parliamentary and presidential elections to be crucial for Armenia.

“The most serious challenge for the state is holding transparent elections. We have already exhausted the reference of being young democratic state. Elections must meet all the international criteria, otherwise it would be a real catastrophe for Armenia,” she stated.
