Kyrgyz seismologists recorded a 5.1 magnitude earthquake in Tajikistan near the border between the two countries, the press service of the Seismology Institute of the Kyrgyz National Academy of Sciences told reporters on Monday.
According to the institute, the 5.1 magnitude tremors were recorded on Saturday evening. The epicenter was located in Tajikistan, 70 kilometers southwest of the Kyrgyz village of Korgon, 115 kilometers south of the regional center of Batken.
