At least 12 people were killed and eight wounded in an Israeli airstrike on eastern Lebanon, which targeted a camp for displaced Syrians in the northern Bekaa Valley, according to the Lebanese National News Agency (NNA).

Seven Syrians were among those killed in the attack, which took place in the Wadi Fara area.

The Israeli army, in turn, said it had carried out a series of strikes on Hezbollah targets.
