YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Attorney General Aghvan Hovsepyan received on Tuesday the delegation headed by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Co-Rapporteur on Armenia John Prescott.

Attorney General stressed the importance of the PACE role in improving works of the Armenian attorneys and development of information policy, Attorney General press service informs Armenian News-NEWS.am. Meantime, Prescott stressed the importance of providing balanced information and acquiring trust of equality in criminal trials.   

Hovsepyan presented Prescott with the results on the March 1-2, 2008, case, when 10 people were killed during demonstrations in Yerevan downtown. Moreover, the investigation body has released information, which is uploaded on the Internet. The body will continue to provide people with case results later as well.
