Hamas, in response to the latest initiative presented in indirect talks with Israel, has included a clause in the text of the agreement between the conflicting parties on guarantees not to resume hostilities in the Gaza Strip after the end of a possible 60-day ceasefire, reported Maan news agency, which is close to this Palestinian radical movement.
According to its sources, Hamas insists that this condition be included as a separate clause in the Gaza ceasefire agreement.
Until recently, Hamas had demanded that the US provide guarantees on this matter.
