Armenian Deputy Economy Minister Edgar Zakaryan on Tuesday received a delegation from Shanghai, China, Armenian News-NEWS.am was informed by the Ministry of Economy of Armenia.

The aforesaid delegation has arrived in Armenia to expand the representation of Armenian companies in the Shanghai Free Trade Zone, as well as to establish cooperation in projects of mutual interest.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the avenues for cooperation in various sectors of the economy and prospects for the developing of business ties. In this connection, Zakaryan suggested considering the possibility of holding business meetings in various formats, as well as creating an industrial cluster with Chinese capital.

Also, the Armenian deputy economy minister expressed readiness to support initiatives aimed at promoting economic cooperation and strengthening business ties between Armenia and China.
