The wealth of Russia's richest businessmen has increased by $ 20,163 billion since the beginning of the year, according to the latest Bloomberg Billionaires Index published by Bloomberg—and which is calculated, in particular, based on the value of companies' shares.
Accordingly, Telegram messenger co-founder Pavel Durov has earned $3.27 billion since the beginning of the year, and his wealth has amounted to $14.3 billion. The wealth of Alisher Usmanov, a shareholder of Russia's largest iron ore producer Metalloinvest, has increased by $3.12 billion, reaching $16.3 billion.
But the biggest financial loss among Russia's richest businessmen was suffered by Vladimir Lisin, the chairman of the board of directors of NLMK, whose fortune decreased by $3.58 billion to $22.2 billion. Since March 2012, Bloomberg publishes the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, which includes information on the wealth of the 500 richest people on the planet.
