The [OSCE] Minsk Group has never been able to create conditions for dialogue between the conflicting parties

The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) failed in Nagorno-Karabakh also, according to Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

“The [OSCE] Minsk Group was never been able to create conditions for dialogue between the conflicting parties. And after its Western participants withdrew from cooperation with Russia, it completely lost its meaning,” the Russian FM noted in an article published in Rossiyskaya Gazeta.

Russia, the US, and France are the co-chairing countries of the OSCE Minsk Group, which has a mandate to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

But when the Russian “Special Military Operation” in Ukraine began, Paris and Washington stopped working together with Moscow within the Minsk Group.
