At least 180 people have died of starvation in the Gaza Strip in recent times, the health ministry of this Palestinian enclave informed on Telegram.

Five deaths due to starvation and malnutrition have been recorded in Gaza hospitals in the past 24 hours, the ministry said, bringing the death toll from starvation to 180, including 93 minors.

According to the latest figures from the Gaza health ministry, the death toll in this Palestinian enclave since the escalation of the conflict with Israel in October 2023 has reached 60,430, and more than 148,000 people have been injured.

No international humanitarian aid has entered the Gaza Strip since March 2.

Also in March, the Israeli army resumed hostilities in this Palestinian enclave, violating the ceasefire established in January.
