A 5.6-magnitude earthquake has struck Iran, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center said.
The quake struck at 5:06 UTC on Tuesday, 125 kilometers southeast of Bam, a city with a population of 99,000.
The epicenter of this seismic activity was at a depth of 10 kilometers.
There were no reports of casualties or damage.
