“We have resolved a very important issue — a special transit zone, a territory that will give Azerbaijan full access to Nakhchivan while fully respecting Armenia’s territorial integrity,” U.S. President Donald Trump said during the summit with Pashinyan and Aliyev, referring to the “Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity” (TRIPP) project.

“Thus, they (Armenia and Azerbaijan) will be able to live and work together. This is a very important area for both countries,” he noted.

According to Trump, Armenia is creating an exclusive partnership with the United States to develop “this corridor,” with management rights lasting 99 years, and with the possibility of extending for another 99 years.

“We expect American companies to invest significant amounts of money in these countries, which will bring economic benefits to all three nations. The region is of great importance. The U.S. is signing agreements with these countries in trade, economy, and technology, including in the field of AI,” he said.
