During the White House meeting, the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan left a journalist’s question about the return of the Armenian population to Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) unanswered.

The journalist asked both leaders whether the Armenian residents of Artsakh would be allowed to return. The second part of the question concerned the possibility of nominating Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize.

Both Pashinyan and Aliyev avoided answering the first question and responded only to the one about the Nobel Prize. The atmosphere became tense, and Pashinyan passed the floor with a cheerful tone to Aliyev, who also did not address the fate of the people of Artsakh.

It is worth noting that the signed documents make no mention of Artsakh.
