From January to July, nearly 1,000 illegal migrants were deported from the Sverdlovsk Region of Russia, tagilcity.ru informs.

Most of these deportees are citizens of Central Asian countries.

During the specified period, more than 400 people from Tajikistan, close to 300 natives from Uzbekistan, and more than 130 illegal immigrants from Kyrgyzstan were sent back to their homeland.

Thirty-three Azerbaijanis are also on the list of deportees.

Several foreign nationals—1 to 6 people—from Georgia, Egypt, and China were also forced to leave Russia.

All these deportees had arrived in Russia for work, but were staying in the country without legal grounds.

They awaited their expulsion or deportation procedure in specialized temporary detention centers for foreign citizens.
