The Past daily of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes as follows, in particular: The more time passes since the trilateral meeting in Washington, the more obvious it becomes that the [Armenian] authorities are not going to give clear and straightforward answers to the questions of how and by whom the inspection and overseeing of vehicles coming from Azerbaijan will be carried out [in Armenia] (…).

And this is understandable, as specific answers to these questions will immediately reveal that the so-called “Zangezur corridor,” which Azerbaijan has achieved through the territory of Armenia, is planned to be turned into an extraterritorial zone, violating Armenia’s sovereignty.

The pro-government media of Armenia attempted to divert public attention to other events, for example, the meeting [between the US and Russian presidents] in Alaska. (…).

Of course, reporters are trying to ask the authorities specific clarifying questions about the corridor, but they do not receive any exhaustive answers.

If at first Pashinyan was still attempting to answer something (…), then he soon realized that it was better to remain silent, since he could not give any encouraging answer. From that moment on, representatives of Armenia’s authorities decided to play the role of a “deaf and dumb” person (…).

And the Azerbaijani media speak much more clearly (…).

The consequences of the creation of the corridor and the damage it will cause to the sovereignty of the RA are yet to be realized by the Armenian society. (…).
