A private talk between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has kicked off at the presidential office of Armenia, Armenpress reports.

The tête-à-tête will be followed by an expanded meeting, after which the Armenian premier and the Iranian president will make statements to the press.

Prior to the private talk, an official welcoming ceremony for the Iranian president was held at the Armenian presidential office.

The Iranian president arrived in Armenia on Monday for a two-day official visit.
