Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, on Friday received US Ambassador Kristina Kvien, informs the office of the Security Council of Armenia.

The interlocutors exchanged views and noted, with satisfaction, the agreements reached in Washington DC on August 8 during the process of normalizing of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

The unblocking of regional communication channels was also touched upon, on the margins of which the secretary of the Security Council of Armenia emphasized that this unblocking will come to fruition within the framework of full respect for the principles of territorial integrity, sovereignty, jurisdiction, and reciprocity of the countries.

During the meeting, the parties discussed as well the agenda of Armenia-US relations and the future courses of action.
