By decree of President Vahagn Khachaturyan, Lilit Makunts has been recalled from the post of Armenia's Ambassador to the United States.

And by another presidential decree, Narek Mkrtchyan has been appointed Armenia's Ambassador to the United States.

To note, Mkrtchyan was earlier dismissed from the post of Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia, and was replaced in this capacity by ruling force former MP—and former minister of health—Arsen Torosyan.
