The president of Azerbaijan, as far as I know, also had recorded in his interview the establishment of peace between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this at the press briefing after Thursday’s Cabinet meeting of the Armenian government—and regarding the remark that after the meeting in Washington on August 8, he portrays peace with Azerbaijan as an already accomplished fact, but until yesterday the Azerbaijani president continues to speak in the language of blackmail and insist on demands to Armenia.

"Secondly, when we record that peace has been established, we do not record that the parties no longer have any questions for each other. Such a thing does not happen at all in our relations with those countries with which we have never had a conflict, have never had a problem, and even have friendly relations. The establishment and development of interstate relations is a dynamic process, and the parties have their agreements and have their disagreements, which does not have an impact on the overall picture.

But I also said in my address [to the nation] of August 18 that peace needs care, and that care must be constant. The record is that yes, peace has been established [between Armenia and Azerbaijan]. And in my address also I said that the established peace must become more and more institutional. I mean, nothing has changed since my statement, and let me guess that it will not change,” added the Armenian PM.
