Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan held a telephone conversation with Nepalese Foreign Minister Arzu Rana Deuba, according to the Armenian Foreign Ministry.

Minister Mirzoyan presented details of the agreements reached between Armenia and Azerbaijan in Washington on August 8.

Arzu Rana Deuba congratulated Ararat Mirzoyan on this important event on the path to establishing lasting peace in the region.

Referring to the Joint Declaration signed by the leaders of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and the United States, Minister Mirzoyan emphasized the importance of the “Trump Path to International Peace and Prosperity” program in the context of expanding regional connectivity.

The interlocutors discussed opportunities for intensifying cooperation between Armenia and Nepal, emphasizing the importance of mutual visits at the political level in this direction.

During the telephone conversation, views were exchanged on issues of cooperation in multilateral forums.
