Armen Grigoryan, Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Armenia, met with Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, during a working visit to Tehran. This was reported by the National Security Council.

The Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Armenia and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran discussed bilateral multilateral cooperation and emphasized the importance of implementing existing programs.

During the meeting, the parties emphasized the continuity of Armenian-Iranian bilateral contacts based on mutual respect and trust.

The parties also discussed recent regional developments and stressed the importance of maintaining peace.
