Economic activity in Armenia grew by 7 percent in January-July 2025 compared to the same period last year, the Eurasian Development Bank informed in a bulletin.

This growth was driven by the services (+10.6%), trade (+3.9%), and construction (+20.2%) sectors.

Industry recorded an annual decline of 9.8 percent, but in July production grew for the first time since October 2024, growing by 4.2 percent annually.

Business activity is supported by construction, mortgage lending (+31% in June).

Demand is driven by high growth rates in consumer lending.
