The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Turkey has issued a statement regarding the announcement of the dissolution of the OSCE Minsk Group.

“We welcome the decision taken by the OSCE Ministerial Council on September 1, 2025 to close the Minsk Group and dissolve its structures. This is a historic decision, which became possible thanks to the joint efforts of the two countries [i.e. Armenia and Azerbaijan], and has become one of the most important events in the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia,” the Turkish MFA statement said.
