The family of Lebanese Armenian Vicken Euljekjian, who was taken captive by Azerbaijanis during the 44-day war in 2020, informs that he has been on a hunger strike in an Azerbaijani capital Baku prison for 20 days.
Euljekjian's wife, Luciana Minassian, wrote as follows: "The family of Vicken Euljekjian is filled with deep sorrow. Instead of hearing good news about his long-awaited release, a call received from Baku today revealed that he has been on a hunger strike for 20 days. What should have been a moment of hope has turned into unbearable sadness and fear."
