Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, on Wednesday received the European Union (EU) Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia, Magdalena Grono.

During the meeting, the Joint Declaration signed by the leaders of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and the US in Washington on August 8 and the respective economic opportunities to be created were discussed.

The interlocutors touched also upon the prospects for the unblocking of regional communication routes, within the framework of which Grigoryan presented the existing economic potential.

Matters related to the Armenia-EU bilateral agenda were talked about, too.
