Russian Armenian entrepreneur and philanthropist Samvel Karapetyan will remain in custody in Yerevan.
The Anti-Corruption Court of Appeal of Armenia denied the motion of his defense lawyers, said Aram Vardevanyan, one of his attorneys.
Karapetyan has been in custody in the Armenian capital since June 18.
