Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received, at the government, the ambassadors accredited to NATO who are visiting Armenia, the PM’s office informs.

During the meeting, the Armenia-NATO partnership was discussed, and the parties noted the importance of developing and continuing this cooperation.

The premier presented Armenia's policy towards the strengthening of peace and stability. In this context, Pashinyan reflected to the Washington Declaration signed between Armenia and Azerbaijan on August 8, as well as the initialing of the agreement on the establishment of peace and relations between the two countries.

The PM emphasized that Armenia attaches importance to cooperation with international partners, including NATO, which also contributes to promoting the security and stability agenda in the region.

In turn, the ambassadors accredited to NATO welcomed the signing of the Washington Declaration and the initialing of the peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and described them as crucial steps towards ensuring long-term stability in the region. Also, they lauded the partnership with Armenia.

During the meeting, views were exchanged on regional security, Armenia’s reform agenda, and expanding of cooperation with international partners.
