Serdar Kilic, Turkey’s special representative for the process of normalization of Armenia-Turkey relations, responded to reporters’ questions in Igdir, Turkey, prior to his visit to Armenia on Friday.

Kilic told reporters that he will visit Armenia via the land border between the two countries, during which the work done and the measures to be taken in the future will be discussed, reports Anadolu Agency.

He reflected also on the matter of borders, and noted that the “Zangezur line” is very important. Kilic argued that it is a very important line not only for Armenia and Turkey, but also for the entire Central Asia and its Turkic countries. He added that the Armenian side also views all this positively.
