Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan received a delegation of permanent representatives of member states to NATO, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Mirzoyan touched upon Armenia's approaches to developing its partnership with NATO as well as its member states, and the respective joint work being carried out. Existing opportunities were discussed, too.

As a major event on the path to ensuring peace in Armenia’s region, Mirzoyan noted the agreements the country had reached in Washington on August 8 with Azerbaijan and the US, and informed those in attendance about the ongoing discussions aimed at implementing these agreements.

In the context of Armenia's foreign and security policy, Ararat Mirzoyan presented the country's vision of strengthening its democratic institutions and resilience in dynamically developing conditions in the world, stability in the South Caucasus, as well as the development of bilateral relations in various directions.

Also, the Armenian FM answered questions of interest to the permanent representatives of member states to NATO.

In addition, views were exchanged on international developments.
