Armenia is today more independent than ever, more sovereign than ever, a state than ever, safer than ever. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this in his address at the Comprehensive Security & Resilience International Conference – 2025 that kicked off Monday in Armenia’s capital, Yerevan.

"Armenia has never had more security than it has today. If in the spring I was saying that there would [no longer] be no war, there would be peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, I want to record that there is now peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan," Pashinyan said.

He added, however, that even peace that has existed for 50 years needs institutionalization because "if you do not engage in the institutionalization of peace, peace is deinstitutionalized; that is, it is disintegrated."
